from the ground up
UHMA was a student project, spanning the 2022-2023 Fall and Spring semesters. For the first part we were tasked with creating a brand with a full, usable brand guide. For the second part we applied our carefully crafted visual identity into an advertisement campaign for the launch of our imagined brand.
energetic ethos
We approached the assignment from a viewpoint of an ambitious outdoor shoewear manufacturer that would seek to revolutionize the total pipeline from materials to retail products. We came up with core values that emphasized low environmental impact to preserve nature for future generations.
many shoes filled
During the group assignment, I designed the logo of the fictional company, approved by peers both in my group and all attendants of the course. Each phase of the project from basic graphic elements like logo, colors and typography to the advertisement campaigns during the Spring semester went through a rigorous (+ encouraging) review process.
a lot of learning
Overall I was incredibly happy with the final deliverables of both semesters, and incredibly fortunate to have a motivated and talented group to work with. The course provided me with a strong foundation to build brands and visual identities for customers, and I did get a chance to apply my skills as early as Fall 2023, with TAKE TO+!
