i'm aleksi erkki

Also going by Æirikr, Alexandros Eirikr and many other online handles. I'm a visual designer and a world builder hailing from Rovaniemi, Finland. I'm currently working on my Masters in graphic design at the University of Lapland.

strengths

I have a solid foundation with the traditional graphic design tool box, from hands-in-the-clay printing work to digital eye candy for social media marketing. More than just a set of tools, I have an endless curiosity for the world in general. I'm quick to adapt and easy to work with. As mentioned above, I also love building worlds, be they design ecosystems or immersive fictional experiences e.g. role playing scenarios. ambitions

I've explored several fields in and along side design and arts academia, feeling with each day the growing lack of borders. From a graphic designer to a visual designer, I'm eager to see what my next stage of evolution will be. I've been drawn to games of all types for all my life, so maybe it is there I'll find myself in 10 years.
